Smart Supply has taken another step forward in its digital transformation strategy. On Monday afternoon (the 3rd), the company officially unveiled its new in-house management platform to its sales and procurement teams; the platform was developed to optimize internal processes and enhance operational efficiency.
The initiative is part of the company's ongoing commitment to innovation, investing in technology to offer processes that are increasingly agile, intelligent, and aligned with market needs.
Developed in-house, the platform will provide real-time operational information and strategic indicators to support decision-making, contributing to more efficient management and even more effective customer service.
Mike Nogueira, the Digital Solutions and Process Automation Controller responsible for the project’s execution and implementation, emphasized that technology is at the heart of Smart Supply.
“Smart Supply is a technology-driven company, and this must be reflected in every stage of our operations. I believe that strategic decisions should be data-driven, using reliable information and consistent analysis to reduce uncertainty, identify opportunities, and ensure more effective decisions.”
During the presentation and training session, Smart Supply CEO Jonathan Schwingel emphasized that the new platform represents yet another step forward in the evolution of the company’s internal processes.
“We need to remember what our purpose is: to provide excellent customer service and meet our customers’ needs in the best way possible.”
Jonathan also pointed out that the initiative will directly contribute to increasing operational agility, especially in sectors that require rapid responses, such as the offshore industry, where speed in decision-making and in providing solutions is an essential factor for the success of operations.
A New Phase for Smart Supply's Processes
The platform will begin operating later this month, marking the start of a new phase in the evolution of Smart Supply’s business and procurement processes.
With ongoing monitoring by the teams involved, the tool will undergo continuous improvements, incorporating new features and refinements based on the needs identified during its use.
As part of this process, the company will hold weekly committee meetings to monitor the platform’s progress, evaluate opportunities for improvement, and ensure that the solution continues to add value to operations and the customer experience.
